It’s almost the 1 year anniversary of our community association and we’ve got our first in-person committee meeting for some time. Jeff, Paula, myself (Hugh) and Gab will be meeting in Woy Woy to catch up on all the news and make any decisions needed to move forward.
We’ve decided on the type event, we’ve picked a Musical Director, a name for the event, we’ve put in for a grant to hire a really great venue (hopefully that comes through), we’ve picked a date, created Youtube and Facebook pages, we’ve picked a ticketing company and our online fundraising platform. We’re also getting our paperwork in order by getting our NSW Authority to Fundraise certificate.
Now we’ve got to think about the video part of the event. How will we manage that?
Phew, it’s a lot, but we knew it would be. We know it will all pay off with a great event, and hopefully some effective fundraising so we can pay for some more awesome Peer Leaders to run mental health support groups in NSW.
