We completed the fundraising from Sing Up Good and donated $3,400 to One Door Mental Health to help them pay the wages for the community-based Mental Health Peer Leaders in the Support Groups program.

It was a great feeling to be able to make this donation and know that everyone’s donations went to support the cause.

Because of our fundraising we are able to support the work of real, working, Mental Health Peer Leaders. $3,400 can pay for a Peer Leader to run a meeting once a month for a year and attend the Peer Leaders Team Meeting. This might contribute to supporting 20 people who have experienced a serious mental health condition.

This is something that everyone from MHPLNSW and all the people who contributed to Sing Up Good can feel proud about.
